Trust Lands

School Trusts Lands were granted by the United States to each state joining the union. When Utah entered the union it was granted four sections (a section is one square mile of land) per township. Beginning in 2000, by state law every public school in the district established a School Community Council at the school level (Utah Code. Section 53A-1a-108).

TRUSTLAND FUNDING: The dollar amount the school is receiving during the 2016-2017 school year from the School Land Trust Program is $27,078

** Parents can serve on the school improvement committee (Community Council) to help make decisions about the School Land Trust Funds. Please see the "Election Information and Current Council Member Information" link below for more details.

Note: Trustlands Information is provided to parents without internet access through the school newsletter.
