Mekelle Willson
I wanted to take a moment to recognize what an incredible team lead Mekelle is and how much she means to our team.
Her ability to keep us informed and up to date with district expectations makes such a difference in our day-to-day work. Because of her, we always feel prepared, supported, and confident in the direction we're moving. Mekelle consistently pushes us to stay motivated and to keep challenging our students to learn and grow, and that encouragement truly inspires us to be our best.
Beyond that, her kindness and understanding never goes unnoticed. She speaks so positively about our team and always makes us feel valued and appreciated. She is always willing to step in and help whenever needed, and she never hesitates to advocate for us and go to bat for our team. That level of support means more than words can express.
Mekelle is the heart of our team, and the reason we work together as well as we do. Her leadership creates a culture of trust, collaboration, and respect, and we are incredibly lucky to have her.
